The museum collections
The collections covers the 4.500 years of history in Greenland and derives from all parts of the country. The fine ethnographical material from Ammassalik and Thule were collected around 1880-1920. The recent colonial period is mainly represented by clothing and tools. The museum also has an extensive art- and photo-collection.
