Artists from Kangaamiut
In this exhibition carvings made by men from Kangaamiut are shown. Two of the men were born in the late 1800s and one was born at the beginning of the 1900s.
Artists from Kangaamiut are famous for their distinctive and unique carvings in wood, soapstone, teeth and bones, especially wooden dolls. Artists from Kangaamiut are self-taught through their many years of working experience and created their own style
